Curriculum Portfolio
This curricular package meets the gap that currently exists in sex education, providing a comprehensive, unbiased sexual education rooted in both the biological and sociological background of sex ed.
At the end of this curriculum, students should have a greater understanding of the human reproductive system, the biological nature of the menstrual cycle, the importance of voicing and waiting for consent in a relationship, the differences between various birth control methods, and an awareness of different sexually transmitted infections and diseases.

Creative Application
As a STEAM Educator with over 15 years of experience working with and engaging learners, I have found that creative application of scientific and mathematical concepts supports student comprehension and is inherently accessible to students with neurodivergent learning styles.
Through my "Engage, Inform, Apply" teaching philosophy, students are prompted to explore a new concept first from their inherent curiosity, then primed with basic concepts which they expand upon through inquiry, investigation, experimentation, and creation.
